Rever Offshore are looking for a Permanent Trainee Inspection Engineer. Based onshore in our Aberdeen office.

Description and Main Purpose of Job:

The Trainee Inspection Engineer shall assist the Inspection Team in the support of project and department operations. This will involve a variety of duties including, workpack preparation, assisting with vessel setup/mobilisation, onshore data processing and report preparation.
The role will also require working closely with the onshore and offshore project teams (incl. Survey, ROV, Diving, Engineering) to support inspection operations.

Accountability and Key Performance Areas:
• Sound knowledge of and adherence to the Business Management System (BMS) framework and governance.
• Demonstrate behaviours and attitude which align to and support Rever Offshore core values.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Project document preparation
• Inspection reporting support
• Assisting with the control of Digital Data
• Video review and data editing
• Undertaking necessary validation checks on acquired project data
• Assist with tendering support for inspection projects
• Assist with mobilisation/demobilisation activities
• Supporting the Leadership Team as appropriate, completing specific focused tasks, to support the continuing improvement in operational excellence and the long term Company strategy.
• Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified, in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.

• Experience with offshore inspection or other relevant certification
