Rever Offshore are looking for a full time Communications & Marketing Coordinator for our office in Aberdeen.

Description and Main Purpose of Job:

To successfully co-ordinate the marketing functions of the business and assist with the delivery of the Communications strategy.
Accountability and Key Performance Areas:

• To increase profile of the company and achieve a consistent and accurate message through marketing activity, internally and externally
• Sound knowledge of and adherence to the Business Management System (BMS) framework and governance.
• Demonstrate behaviours and attitude which align to and support Rever Offshore core values.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Help manage the brand and brand messages to ensure all marketing material is correct and in keeping with brand guidelines
• Plan, implement and manage all marketing material throughout the business including all company presentations, document templates, and promotional material, video and photo portfolios
• Assist with the organisation of events and exhibitions when required
• Assist with the coordination of all internal communication methods, including but not limited to, internal memos, company newsletter, presentation content, company briefing activities and the company intranet site
• Ensure the external website and internal intranet site are kept in line with the company brand guidelines and kept up to date
• Assist with the coordination of all external PR activities to maximise the exposure of our company’s brand and value to stakeholders on all levels, including press and trade editorial coverage and social media
• Assist the business development team as and when required for events and PR opportunities
• Proactively assist with management forums and business focus groups as and when required
• Supporting the Leadership Team as appropriate, completing specific focused tasks, to support the continuing improvement in operational excellence and the long term Company strategy.
• Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified, in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.

Experience, Competency and Skill Requirement:

Competence is defined by your ability and willingness to meet all of the responsibilities and accountabilities as stated in this Job Description and the Competency Framework for your role, where applicable.
• Relevant experience, preferably with an in-house or agency background in communications, working on a mix of corporate and energy accounts
• Excellent communication (written and oral), presentation and influencing skills and ability to build effective relationships, internally and externally
• Media relations
• Ability to get results and see the bigger marketing picture
• Ability to devise and implement excellent PR campaigns
• Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm
• Ability to work using own initiative and to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to effectively manage own workload, and work within given timescales (both internal and external)
• Adaptability and problem solving capability
• Educated to degree level or suitable relevant experience
• Proven experience in business PR and knowledge of the oil and gas industry
• Experience with SharePoint
• Experience using design software including photoshop and in-design
